We will meet at Three Bears at 3:00PM Sunday, September 7, 2025. Three Bears is located 6 miles down Knik Goos Bay Road. This event will have an opportunity for two group finds. I will give out the coordinates to super soaker 3,000 and super soaker 4,000 (water tube caches) and we will head out. I will also provide coordinates for suggested parking near the water tube caches. ILB can be reached at (907) 545-2573.
It is recommended to work on this as a group before the event as well as during. It might be worth spending some time at the hardware store and trying to have more than one potential (nondestructive or disassembly) solution. Those of you that attended The Buttermilk Invitational 4 (GCAAH43) have an idea what you are getting into. It is highly recommended to contact these cachers. Again, group collaboration is encouraged.
Tools of the trade. An 8 or 10 foot ladder…seriously for real, lots of water to fill the tubes, bug spray, food and drinks for the duration, and creative thinking. You know ILB……you know him……think creatively.
