Although New Franklin is not a large city, there is a winery and a high end restaurant just North of the cache. Farther South are some fast food restaurants and a deli where you can pick up something for a picnic at Portage Lakes State Park. There is a Welcoming Center, Swimming, Disc Golf, Boat Ramp, Dog Park and more just a mile South.
There is plenty of room to pull over to get your find and put a yellow smile on your face.
Due to the unusual shape of the cache, there is no room for swag.
