Geocache Description:

Geocaching Challenge – A World of Cache Types

This is a challenge cache. You can locate the physical container at the coordinates listed in the waypoints. However, to log this as a find, you need to have logged at least five different cache types in five different countries. Please provide evidence of your qualification.

 The Challenge

I heart to travel, and traveling is one of the greatest parts of geocaching! With no need for a guidebook, your adventures can be led by different types of caches:

  • A Traditional might bring you to a quiet scenic view
  • A Multi-cache could guide you through a fascinating site
  • A Virtual may highlight a well-known tourist destination
  • A Wherigo lets you experience your surroundings in a new way
  • An EarthCache encourages learning about natural formations
  • A Mystery (or Puzzle) cache can uncover hidden local stories
  • An Event introduces you to fellow explorers and the local community

This challenge highlights the variety that geocaching adds to travel.

To log this cache with "Found it":

If you meet the condition of finding five different cache types in five separate countries, you can log "Found it" after locating the container and signing the logbook.

Your finds can be from the past and do not have to be recent. Caches that have since been archived still count. If you adopted a cache after finding it, it still qualifies. You may not use caches that you placed yourself unless they are adopted after your log.

 Logging the cache:

When logging this cache, please include the following in your log (or checker result screenshot):

  • The five countries you qualify with;
  • The five cache types you found in each;
  • For each cache: the country, GC code and type of the cache

You can verify your qualification via the Project-GC checker linked on the cache page.

I Qualifying With the Following:

Norway - (GC41CA2, Multi-cache), (GC7B83T, Virtual Cache), (GC455YZ, Mystery Cache), (GC1QVZ0,Traditional Cache), (GC8KA4M, Earthcache)

This cache is part of a travel-themed series hidden along a quieter stretch of the PST trail, where there are fewer people and plenty of shade from the trees, making it pleasantly cool even on hot summer days. The caches are placed along the path, and the route is not circular.

Please note:

If you do not yet meet the condition, you are welcome to log a "Write note" after finding it. Later, when you qualify, you can change your log to "Found it".

Happy caching, and may your travels be full of variety and adventure!
Let the journey guide you, one cache at a time.
