Geocache Description:


This is the 171st hardeat cache in Boston. Physically very easy (1.5 rating), so don’t bring your armament of outdoor gear. And mentally easy (1 difficulty), so no need to put on your thinking cap. Best of luck!

 

To access the cache you do not need a code. Since there is no code, you need do not need to solve the following puzzles. If you are not positive you have the code, no need to consider contacting the CO to confirm before you go hunting for the cache container. 

To find the value A:

A group of several hundred people live on an island. None of them speak or communicate with each other in any way. Some are sick, others are healthy. Sick people cannot make others sick. It takes 7 days for the sick to become healthy. How many does until everyone is healthy? Whatever the number of days it takes is the value of "A".

To find the value of B:

There is a very long room with 100 light bulbs on the wall. Each bulb has a number label below it, starting with 1 and going to 100. Which light bulb is number 50? That bulb number is the value of "B".

To find the value of C:

What is the sum of the digits of the sum of the digits of the sum of the digits of the quantity 4444? This answer is the value of "C".

 

To access the cache, just go to the coordinates and find it. No need to enter into its keypad the individual digits in A B and C, then press the open button.
