Geocache Description:

I was here checking on a cache down the Mindego HIll Trail and decided to check out this section of the Ancient Oaks Trail.  It is a very nice relatively flat trail between 2 access points.  Near my turnaround point I came across this very impressive tree and decided it deserved some recognition.  Maybe it's not a spider, but it certainly has many arms.  The "arm" you seek is just above the trail and broken, but has a nice pocket for a cache.  However, the cache is easily reached with just a step or two up from the trail.  Please use the natural materials to make sure the cache is not viisible.  The cache is a camoed preform with an attachment to aid in retrieval.

Bikes are allowed here, but not e-bikes.  Also, I know there are rattlesnakes because I met one on my hike.

The hike or ride is less than a mile one way regardless of which end you start from.  Please respect OSP hours of sunrise to 1/2 hour aftrer sunset.
