This is a Bonus Cache. You must complete the Stormwater ArtStorm 2025 Adventure Lab to obtain the final coordinates for this cache. See below for additional advice for completing the Adventure Lab.
The 5.0/1.0 Diff/Terr rating is based on the need to travel approximately 70 miles to complete the Stormwater ArtStorm 2025 Adventure Lab and the fact the cache itself is wheelchair accessible. The bonus cache is an ammo can with plenty of room for trade items and travel bugs.
During the course of completing the AL you have been presented with several ideas for how you may reduce your contribution to water pollution. This effort is a public education collaboration between Tri-County Regional Planning Commission, Greater Lansing Regional Committee for Stormwater Management, and the Middle Grand River Organization of Watersheds.
We all live on the only planet humankind has even known and probably the only planet humankind will ever be able to inhabit. You and I will live the rest of our days here. But what will the planet be like for our great grand children and their great grand children? If we care about our descendants, we must do our part to protect our biosphere.
Additional advice for completing the AL
- Plan your route before leaving home.
- Google Maps is useful in navigating your route. Other apps may be better.
- Attempting at night will be more difficult.
- Click on the Cover image in the AL App to see a map of all 15 locations.
- Lakeside Preserve is just past the "No Trespassing" sign. You have permission to approach the mural, but please be respectful of private property and look out for pedestrians, bikes, and scooters.
- A moderate walk is needed at East West Pathway. Parking may be a challenge.
- MSU Wells Hall cannot quite be seen from the car. Do not attempt on football home game days.
