Welcome to Kings Gap Environmental Education Center!
One of Pennsylvania's 124 state parks, Kings Gap has over 25 miles of hiking trails, an historic mansion and many educational and community events.
This cache brings you along the Woodland Ecology Trail, a moss-covered path with interpretive signs explaining aspects of the forest environment.
To celebrate America's 250th, we're celebrating Pennsylvania history. The forest of Kings Gap was heavily used for charcoal production to make iron. This cache is located near the remains of a charcoal hearth. Find the cache to learn more!
Cache is a small locking waterproof case containing information cards with a hand lens (please leave in the cache!), log, and trade items.
