Share a meal, share some stories, and then sit back, relax and
watch the Finalists of the
2025 Geocaching International Film Festival.
What better way is there to celebrate Community, this years theme for GIFF.
Geocaching International Film Festival is where Cachers from around the world, submit short films, showcasing Geocaching within the theme of "TFTC - Thanks for the Community". HQ choose the "Finalists", that we get to watch at this event, and then we can vote on our own favourite.
By attending this event, you will earn this years Giff Souvenir.
Date 8/11/2025
Venue: Our Place. 416 Mandalong Rd MANDALONG. 2km off the M1 Morisset Interchange. Coords should be the front gate.
Time: 18:00 - 21:00. BBQ will be available from 18:00. Films should start around 20:00 (once it gets dark)
What to Bring : BYOC (bring your own chair). This is an outside venue, so mozzie repellant is a good idea. I will supply a sausage sizzle, so if you would like to contribute, bring a plate that either compliments a snag and onion on a piece of bread, or a yummy dessert. Extra points for home made. You may wish to add to your "Will Attends" what you may bring, so we dont end up with 10kg of coleslaw.....
Camping is available on site if you wish. We have space for a limited number of vans, but unlimited number of tents. Please note on your logs if you wish to stay. We could finish the evening off with a camp fire.

Important.
Please note that the venue is a farm. We have farm animals and fences to keep people away from the farm animals. We also have wallabies, kangaroos and the occasional deer at different times. We do not interact with the free ranging animals, so please, if they decide to attend, do not approach, just watch and keep at a distance. If bringing children, they need to understand this as well, and its the parents responsibility to watch your kids.
