As Spooky Season is just around the corner, this geocache is a subtle nod to the 1983 horror novel "Pet Sematary" by American author Stephen King. The novel was nominated for a World Fantasy Award for Best Novel in 1984, and adapted into two films: one in 1989 and another in 2019.
This is a Geo-Pup friendly geocache that is placed along the outskirts of The Rolling Green Pet Cemetery next to the SPCA of Luzerne County.
There is a packed gravel trail that will take you along the perimeter of the little cememtery designated for our Furry Friends that have made the journey over the Rainbow Bridge.
There is only room for a log, the Special Tool Attribute is for Tweezers!
PLEASE DO NOT POST PHOTS OF CONTAINER.
Fun Fact: King once said that this is the only novel he wrote that really scared him. When he first wrote the manuscript he shelved it because friends and family hated it.
Happy Haunting... I mean Hunting!
