Welcome to Sydney

As always with city caching, the surrounding structures can affect GPS accuracy. If in doubt, use the hint however be mindful that the hint will indicate the type of container used and will be very specific to help you find the cache easily. The spirit of the NSW Police Force is exemplified in the sacrifices of the men and women who have laid down their lives in the performance of their duties.

Some of the men and women in blue that keep us safe.

Roll of Honour

This Roll of Honour Roll shows the names of members of the New South Wales Police Force who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in the execution of their duty.

This official NSW Police Honour Roll records the name, rank and date which has been accepted as duty-related by the various Commissioners (and Inspectors General) of Police of the day.

Also included on the Honour Roll is the first recorded death on duty of a serving member of any Australian Police jurisdiction.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of policing, this Honour Roll will never be complete.

May these fine officers rest in peace.

  Lest We Forget

The "Thin Blue Line" is a term that typically refers to the concept of the police as the last line of defence between law-and-order and chaos in society. The "blue" in "thin blue line" refers to the blue colour of the uniforms of many police departments.
