Swamp Thistle
Cirsium muticumn is also known as swamp thistle, marsh thistle, dunce-nettle, or horsetops, is a North American species of plants in the sunflower family, native to central and eastern Canada and the central and eastern United States.
This cache is located off one of the many trails located in Sleepy Hollow State Park. Most of the trails are hard packed making a bike a great way to get to the caches in the area. Please note there are some roots on the trails. Keep in mind during hunting season to be aware of hunters in the area. Hunting is allowed from September 15 until April 1st each year.
