Geocache Description:

This cache belongs to the SideTracked series. It is not designed to take you to a magical place with a breathtaking view. It's a distraction for the weary traveller, but anyone else can go and find it too. More Information can be found at the SideTracked Website

Tiffield Station was a railway station located in Tiffield, Northamptonshire, England. It opened on 1st May 1886 as part of the Northampton and Banbury Junction Railway. The station featured a single platform and a wooden station building, typical of rural stations of that era. It served both passenger and freight services until its closure to passenger traffic on 7th September 1959, followed by the cessation of freight services in 1964. The station's site has since been repurposed, with remnants of the platform and station building no longer extant.
