10 years of geocaching

First some general driving directions. Cache is northwest of Brainerd, MN. From Brainerd, take MN 371 north to Crow Wing 77 to Beauty Lake Road. Head west on Beauty Lake Road to find the cache.

It is located in Minnesota's Pillsbury State Forest along one of the many hiking and snowmobiling trails. We parked on the west edge of Beauty Lake in a designated parking area at the following coordinates N46 24.246 W094 26.790. The cache is about 0.25 miles from the road, just off the edge of the minor trail that veered to the left from the main trail at about 0.20 miles. The minor trail went down, the main trail went up at this location.

The original contents of the cache are:

-clock (set to standard time, please leave) -log book and pen (please leave) -three large carabeaners -one small carabeaner -two flashlights -one carabeaners with a compass

Part of the team that hid this cache was three years old, better known as "003". This cache is a simple diversion for a family as it is easy to reach and near, "Sea Gull" and "Gull Dam Cache".
