Skipton is full of interesting locations you wouldn't normally visit unless you lived close by, so we thought we would place a series of caches highlighting some of the places we love.
This particular cache is placed in Middletown Allotments (with permission from Skipton Town Council).
DO NOT DRIVE TO THIS CACHE. VEHICULAR ACCESS TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC IS NOT PERMITTED
If driving, please park at the side of the road on one of the local housing estates and walk through the allotments from any of the three entrances - East Castle Street, Greatwood Avenue or Middletown Recreation Ground.
If you're lucky, you can see many different animals at the allotments and neighbouring fields including hens, geese, ponies, donkeys, sheep, rhea and peacocks.
This is a popular dog walking area and cut through from the housing estates on either side. Watch out for muggles!
