This cache is placed just a short distance from where GC18 “Tarryall” — Colorado’s very first geocache — was originally hidden. GC18 was placed on July 2, 2000, and proudly held its spot here for over a decade before being moved to a new location in 2013.
While GC18 now resides elsewhere, this spot still marks an important waypoint in Colorado geocaching history. Standing here, you’re within just a few steps of where hundreds of geocachers once came to sign their names in one of the most visited and favorited logs in the state.
