Come Fry With Me

The first, albeit short, section of the new Newtownards to Bangor (Green Road) Greenway opened in July 2025.  It starts (or ends) at The Floodgates and winds its way past The Ulster Flying Club before finishing at the Portaferry Road opposite Londonderry Park. This cache is situated close to a popular venue to host Geocaching breakfast events, hence the take on the cache name.

Once finished however, the Greenway will be 5.4km in length and will utilise much of the old railway track and run between The Floodgates in Newtownards to the Green Road in Bangor. 

It will include up to four metre wide paths for walking and cycling with accompanying railings, fencing, lighting and planting.
