A cache hidden in the Fountain Square neighborhood near downtown Indianapolis. Permission has been granted for this hide by Alexis at the nonprofit Keep Indianapolis Beautiful.
When finding this cache, you'll visit the rain garden on the KIB HQ's property. Rain gardens benefit the environment by working to slow the infiltration of rain water and by filtering pollutants out of runoff. Please do not enter the rain garden near the posted coordinates as the cache is not in there. Also please be respectful of the plants in the area as the cache is not hidden in or on them either.
The container is homemade and I've had it for a number of years always looking for just the right hiding spot. I never quite found the "right spot" so I decided to place it here since it's one of the better hiding spots I've found for it.
Parking is available at the coordinates posted below in the nearby lot. The cache can also easily be accessed on foot or by bike from the main Fountain Square business district. One of the bus rapid transit (BRT) lines, the Red Line, also has a stop in the business district as well only an 8 minute walk away.
