Welcome to Middle Earth: The Fellowship will help guide you to the "One Ring".
Frodo is a hobbit of the Shire, a member of the Fellowship of the Ring, who inherits the "One Ring" from his cousin Bilbo Baggins.
A holder of the Ring, he leaves the Shire, and embarks on a dangerous journey to Mordor, the land of the Dark Lord Sauron, on a quest to destroy the "One Ring" in the fires of Mount Doom.
The Fellowship of the Ring consists of nine members representing the Free Peoples of Middle-earth:
- Frodo Baggins
- Samwise Gamgee
- Meriadoc "Merry" Brandybuck
- Peregrin "Pippin" Took
- Gandalf
- Aragorn
- Boromir
- Legolas
- Gimli
Through part of the trail you will meet the villains, those who are engaged with stopping the fellowship reaching their goal and trying to keep the "One Ring" for themselves.
You will need to collect numbers along the way to find the One Ring before they do.
Collect the codes from the caches to find the bonus cache.
Please be careful when undertaking this series, it is on a marked path, you do not need to leave the path to get to any of the caches, so please stay on the track.
Part of the track runs next to a fast flowing stream so please be careful with little ones and be careful if you are near any track slips.
Take appropriate clothing, it will be icy and possibly snowy during winter in certain areas of this track, so please dress appropriately.
During summer use sunscreen, bring extra warm layers, water and snacks.
