Event starts 12:00, finishes 12:30.
The first in what may end up being a new series of events in Leeds, designed to be a lunchtime natter in a variety of cafés and public spaces in Leeds. Partly this is an excuse to drag me away from my desk and to explore new places rather than heading straight to the usual place! Whether you work in Leeds or are just visiting, it would be great to catch up.
This first one will be held at the Wagon Lifting Hoist Mini Museum at Tower Square, Wellington Place, Leeds, LS1 4AP, on Monday 15 September 2025 from 12pm to 12:30pm. This listed building used to be part of the railway station that was here before the area was redeveloped, and it has been made into a small museum with two rooms that showcase the rail history of this area.

The museum is free to enter and has seating which we will be using. You don't need to purchase anything to attend this event, but if you want you can grab some food from one of the many places nearby, or your own packed lunch, and we'll have an indoor picnic!
How to get there:
- By car - There is a multi-storey car park in the waypoints, or on-street parking to the north-west, all chargeable.
- By train - Leeds station is a 9 minute walk away.
- By bus - Buses A1, 33, 34, 42, 60 and more stop on Wellington Street. Park and ride buses from Elland Road stop on Whitehall Road.
- By boat - Probably not, this time.
I'm also hoping to have a new geocache published in time for the event (permission pending).
Hope to see you there!
