Stage 1. The Box of whispers.
Your quest begins not at a crossroads, but at an object so green, Kermit would be jealous, trying its best to look unimportant. It is, of course, lying.. You’ll need stealth, wit, and a dash of “Are you sure no one’s watching?” to nab the first and only clue without attracting the attention of nosy neighbors, unusually alert birds, or that one jogger who’s definitely seen too much.:
Approach the suspiciously green target at GZ. This is no ordinary thingamajig—rumor has it, it’s a favorite hangout of oblique clues and those rare, abstract hints that make you question life’s greater meaning (or at least doubt your own GPS). Locate the doodad, but beware: deciphering its message may require the mind of a genius or the logic of a toddler—sometimes both.
FInal Stage: The End of Ambition
Once you have communed with caja verde and deciphered its wisdom, you will have the coordinates to the final stage. Your GPS will lead you to a truly remarkable local landmark: a road that simply gave up. You're heading for "a work in progress", a grand stretch of concrete so incomplete that even Google Maps shrugs. Some say it leads to adventure; others say it’s just a cul-de-sac with commitment issues.
Venture forth to the literal end of the road. If you feel as though you’re starring in your very own low-budget mystery film or about to be abducted by overzealous armadillos, you’re probably on the right track. There, at the edge of civilization (or at least, construction), search for the cleverly camouflaged cache. The treasure awaits those who dare to brave the unknown…and possibly a few confused glances from passing cars.
Trade up, log your find, give it a heart if you have an extra...and remember—not all who wander are lost, but they’re definitely in Churchill.
