Easy paved access to this cache from I-25.
The Adventure Starts HERE.
Take a trip down memory lane. Imagine yourself on horseback--hot, thirsty, and tired. This spot will give you some rest.
As you explore this area, imagine the slow pace and the peace of the days that have gone by in these times.
The monument is on public property, but the actual "rest stop" is on private land, so please view from a distance. This is a good "cache in-trash out" site, so take a small garbage bag with you.
The cache is off of the service road. From the south, take the I-25 Nimmo Rd, if from the north, take the I-25 Little Bear exit. If you would like a more senic slow drive from Cheyenne heading north, then go to the US-85 and Yellowstone Rd (Co Rd 124)intersections (N41'14.390/W104'49.657)and go north from there (about 18 miles).
Congratulations to the first finder, 3/4 Irish.
