This is the 2nd year for the new Amherst Islander II. It is powered by an electric-hybrid propulsion system allowing for both diesel and electric operation. Its first passenger run was July 2nd 2024. If this is your first time on the new ferry, have a walk around, check out the new large passenger lounge and elevated observation deck.
