This geocache is located on my placer gold claim, named KGP GRAND PLACER. I like to come here at least once a week to prospect for gold, it's a great location to get away from the city, people and the summer heat of the city. Great fishing in this area as well, so bring your fly fishing gear.
Yes you're allowed to be on a gold claim, I don't own the land, just the mineral rights, which means you can fish, camp, hike etc - just no prospecting for gold.
May require ankle to knee deep wading through water, if the water's not frozen over.
Geocache is a 12" weatherproof PVC container with a log sheet and pencil.
First to Find value is the biggest I've ever done, and is hidden near the geocache.
