To celebrating CITO 2025 Season 2, we invite you to join us on 13th September, 2025, for a fun and fulfilling event where you can help clean up the area and earn a virtual souvenir for your profile.
About CITO 2025 Season 2:
Season Dates: Monday, September 1 - Sunday, November 30, 2025.
You can only earn one souvenir per season, but feel free to attend or host as many CITO events as you like throughout the year!
What is a CITO Event?
Cache In Trash Out (CITO) is an ongoing environmental initiative supported by worldwide geocaching community.
During CITO events, geocachers around the world participate on organized clean-up efforts to help protect and restore natural spaces.
Our event is part of the Season 2 CITO efforts happening worldwide.
Why This Event Matters:
Woburn Street is heavily used by families heading to school, work, and the nearest bus stop.
Unfortunately, it's also a hotspot for fly-tipping, making it difficult to keep the area clean.
As someone impacted by this, I'm reaching out to the geocaching community to help improve this space.
The litter mostly consists of general waste, with no water or wet areas, so children can safety participate.

Date: Saturday, 13/09/2025
Time: 13:00 - 15:00
Meeting Point: Parking area at the end of Woburn Street, accessiable via Hawthorn Avenue, HU3, West Hull.
Car Park Postcode: HU3 5LW
In case of a large turnout, the canopy will be located sout of the Woburn Street car park.
What to Expect:
Supplies Provided: Bags, gloves, and litter pickers will be available.
Waste Collection: All collected waste will be picked up by Hull City Council.
Trackables at the Event: Trackables will be available at the event for discovery, sharing, and swapping.
Don't forget to bring yours TB's along and join in the fun!
Refreshments: Cold drinks and snacks will be provided for everyone to enjoy.
Everyone Is Welcome!
We warmly welcome locals, visitors, and especially new cachers.
Disabled participants are also welcome, and children can join the event but must be supervised by an adult.
Come down, introduce yourself, and help us make a difference!
