This cache will hopefully lead to a string of them following Swamp Road.
Swam road is discontinued by the town, but may be of historical significance, as it may have been a path the indigenous people used in late 1700s.
Anyway, this land is under the control of the Erving Conservation Commission, and they have granted me permission to work on this string of caches.
I placed this first one close to the parking area, but the best spot was about 200 paces from the parking lot.
Walk along Swamp Road to the junction of an abandoned road.
This area is not Handicap friendly, nor is it winter friendly
The head of Conservation Commission gave me permission to hide the series of caches on Con Comm protected lands.
Cell service is sketchy on Swamp Road.
