This is 1 of 3 caches for my 2 German Shepherd Dogs, Lightning and Sally. These woods were their favorite place to go for a walk. I could take them off leash and let them run around while I walked the trails. There are 2 places where you can park to access the trail. The junction of these trails is listed as a waypoint. If you continue westerly on the wider trail, you end up behind ICUMedical (formerly Smiths Medical). Also see GCBBMZ4 and GCBBN03.
This cache is at the site of a fierce battle. While on the return part of our walk, we passed a tree with a hole under the roots. And a young raccoon hiding in there. The dogs spun around and the fight was on. Lightning did most of the fighting from our side. Sally stuck her nose in a few times and got a slice on it for her troubles. I eventually got a hold of her and tied her to a tree. Took longer to grab Lighting, since I did not want to put my hands in the middle of that fight. Lightning was unscathed. The raccoon was another story as he limped off.
You are looking for a 5.5 x 8-inch lock-n-lock with camo tape. Good for swapping loot. Cache contents appropriate for the seasonal pond to the northeast.
