Qui és Adolfo Pérez Esquivel?
Pérez Esquivel és un activista argentí pels drets humans i la justícia social. Va rebre el Premi Nobel de la Pau l’any 1980 per la seva tasca en la defensa dels drets humans davant les dictadures militars a Amèrica Llatina. La seva vinculació amb la inauguració d’aquesta estàtua reforça el missatge universal de pau i resistència no-violenta.
