Happy hollow Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: Hi There

As the owner has not responded to either my log or my colleague's previous log requesting that they check this cache I am archiving it.

Please note that once the cache has been archived, this can not be undone. This is explained in the Help Center - http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70

You will need to create a new listing, put it back in for review and as long as it meets today's guidelines and no other caches have been published in the area causing a proximity problem, then it will be published.

Regards

Geocache Description:

Beddgelert - Happy hollow

This is a high muggle area because Gelert's grave is located 410ft from the cache

Gelert's grave can be seen from the location of this geocache. Gelert's tale is central ti the heritage and history of this beautiful Welsh village. Gelert was the faithful hound of Prince Llywelyn. One day, the prince returned home to find Gelert bloodstained and his baby’s cradle overturned. Believing the dog had killed the child, he struck Gelert down. Moments later, he discovered the child safe – a slain wolf lying nearby, killed by Gelert in defense of his master’s son. Realizing his tragic mistake, Llywelyn never smiled again.

To access cache, follow path along the river and turn right, as if walking towards Gelert's grave.

Good luck!
