Welcome to Moss & Meatsticks!
An Ode to Chilling in the Woods
~~~~~
|
When we want to hit the sauce
We find a patch of velvet moss
Lay a spread of salty snacks
Chips, cheap cheez (or kind with wax)
DR reaches in his bag
Past path tags, pens, assorted swag
Meat stick, meat stick - it's a set!
Up your nose, you lost a bet!
Serrabou and ZippyFinn have been chilling in the woods for nearly ten years. It's one of our favorite things. We throw rocks at frozen water, create acorn designs, fashion roosters out of Starburst, and sit silently while baby geese walk over our feet. If there is a beaver tree, we try to push it over. We burp loudly and post fake bird calls to nature apps. (But only once.) The next time you find yourself in the woods, sit for a spell and make your own fun.
