The Warrak Rec Reserve is a community space for both locals and visitors.
Managed by DEECA and maintained by a local community group, this reserve is used as a hub for local get-togethers, sport days, tennis tournaments, family celebrations and picnics.
The community also welcomes visitors travelling through. Camping is available at the reserve. No camping fees are charged, but as they are 100% self funded it would be nice to consider a donation to help maintain the site. If you are considering camping overnight, all they ask is that you contact them in advance to ensure availability and confirm any power or facilities you wish to use, as occasionally the whole site is pre-booked for community or group functions.
Facilities at the Rec Reserve include:
- undercover shelter
- public toilets
- BBQ and power available on request
- tennis court
Future plans are to install a new playground and horse yards, as fundraising permits.
