This cache was part of the 2025 Deck the Firehalls cache tour, but NOW it is being used as a travel bug hotel!!
This Cache was placed with permission of the owner of this business! Thanks, Luis!
My family and I have been going to this establishment since we moved into the area
(here, when they were across the street, under a different name and downtown);
my children were raised on Guac and Chips!
You DO NOT have to enter the establishment for the Geocache; however you might want to avoid their busy hours or grab a bite, if so hours are listed below.
After you've gotten into the cache box, cache container and completed your tasks (signing the log, dropping or grabbing a trackable and grabbing some swag), close the door and turn the knob left. Place the container back into the box and please remember to scramble the numbers to give every geocacher the full experience! Secure the outer box withh the latches on the side and remember to scramble the code on the outer lock to keep muggles out!
After the tour (it is now after our event), I plan to use this cache as a travel bug motel and I will place some of my trackables to clear some space in my display cabinet. The container holding the tour envelopes has now changed into a "room" in the "motel" for the trackables and gthe container now says trackables. There is also a container for pathtags and the log book.
Positive comments are appreciated, no negative comments! The people in the business do NOT know the codes but are aware of the cache. The hours for the business are:
Sun 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Mon 11:00 am - 9:00 pm
Tue 11:00 am - 9:00 pm
Wed 11:00 am - 9:00 pm
Thu 11:00 am - 9:00 pm
Fri 11:00 am - 10:00 pm
Sat 11:00 am - 10:00 pm
