This cache is in a lovely Family Day Park that offers picnic tables, benches, grills, a stone covered walkway down to Torch Lake, where you'll find more benches and a dock on which to enjoy this amazing view. There's even a porta-potty if you need it! BRING A PEN... you'll need one! You must sign the log to claim or your entry will be deleted. Your car is right behind you... go grab one!
Hidden just beyond the mowed area among the beautiful cedars. Check the nooks & crannies. Please, be sure to replace it in the little opening so it's snug. As this is NOT the mowed area, please refrain from playing on the nearby rocks that are there for erosion control.
There's some swag for trades, and a Signature piece (cardinal) for the FTF! Take something / leave something, but no food, gum or scented items, please.
Be sure to take the stroll down the path to the Lake and dip your feet, or your whole self, for a refreshing swim! Please, practice CITO and don't leave any garbage behind. If using the grills, fully extinquish and pack out your trash.
