Donovan Park used to be a golf course, managed by the Peoria Parks District. Several years ago the golf course was closed and this location was re-purposed as an excellent city park. The park is at the center of a vibrant part of town with shops and restaurants nearby. The solid-rock-seekwell family enjoys visiting Donovan Park for many reasons. We've enjoyed geocaching, CITO events, walks, orienteering, star-gazing, and eating at Cyd's.
There isn't anything particular special about this cache besides it provides another reason for you to get out and enjoy Donovan Park!
