Masjid Madrasathul Gouthiyyah
It is common knowledge that most Muslims in Malaysia are followers of the *Syafie* school of thought. The Syafie school of thought is one of the various schools of thought in Islam.
But did you know that in Brickfields, there is a mosque that follows the Hanafi school of thought? Masjid Madrasathul Gouthiyyah or better known as Masjid Brickfields is unique because it is one of three Hanafi school of thought mosques located in Kuala Lumpur. The other two are the Pakistan Mosque in Chow Kit and Masjid India in the city center. Masjid Madrasathul Gouthiyyah is also the only house of worship in the Brickfields area where Muslims can perform their Friday prayers.

This geocache is part of the Religious Diversity (RD) Series of caches located in the melting pot of humanity in Brickfields that highlights the different houses of worship of the different religion.
