S and J of the bejs family caching team -- from Washington, D.C., in the U.S. -- are visiting Polzeath, and would love to meet up with local cachers (and visiting ones as well) to share caching stories and get recommendations on nearby caches!
During primary school in the early 1970s, S of bejs spent a few summers at "Camp Cornwall" on the north side of New Polzeath, and is returning to Cornwall for the first time after more than 50 years! It would be great to meet any old timers who might have been around Polzeath at that time, or who remember the Hurtt family who ran the camp.
We plan to get a coffee at Flo's and meet at the outside tables. No purchase necessary.
