This is a Wexford County Council walking trail.

There are a number of information boards along the route. A cache has been placed at six. Enjoy the walk

TRAIL DESCRIPTION

The Kilmuckridge to Morriscastle walking trail is a safe, buggy friendly and wheelchair accessible trail. This scenic route links our friendly village to the coastal resort that is home to the blue flag beach of Morriscastle. Enjoy breath taking coastal views in the rolling agricultural fields along our trail while discovering heritage points on the way.

Morriscastle beach has long been regarded as one of Ireland’s top beaches stretching for over 20kms along the Wexford coast and is known as the ‘Golden Mile’. The beach is renowned for bass fishing from the shore, with large numbers of beach anglers visiting every year and has played host to ‘The World Angling Championships’.
