Sullington.
Sullington is a village in West Sussex, now part of the parish of Storrington & Sullington since its 2003 merger. Located 20 miles south of Horsham, it had a population of 1,354 in 1961.
St Mary's Church features a Saxon-era nave, with 13th-century additions and a Victorian restoration. Its patronage shifted from the local manor to the Diocese of Chichester in 1938. The original rectory (c.1845), once home to A.J. Cronin and Lady Cynthia Asquith, is now private; the current rectory sits on Washington Road.
Sullington Manor, a Grade II listed farmhouse, was owned by the Shelley family post-Dissolution until sold in 1789 to George Wyndham, 3rd Earl of Egremont.
Sullington Warren is a popular woodland area enjoyed by visitors.
The Cache.
There is a simple puzzle to work out the coordinates for which you will need to be looking at the village sign.
The coordinates are N 50° (A+1)(B-1).(B÷2) 38′ W 0° (A÷2)B.55(B+1)′
A= Blades on the Windmill.
B= Infront of the Parish Hall on the sign, there is a bush. When looking forward to the Hall's image on the sign, is the bush on the left or right? If on Right, B = 6. If on Left, B = 2.
Good Luck!
Congratulations to Marmitedog11 for the FTF!!
About Village Sign Caches

This cache belongs to the Village Sign Series, a series of caches based on ornate signs that depict the heritage, history and culture of the villages that put them up (generally on the village green!).
The signs can be made of different materials from fibreglass to wood, from forged steel to stone. They can depict anything from local industry to historical events. The tradition probably started in Norfolk or Suffolk and has now spread across most of the country so we thought we would base a series on them!

More information, bookmarks and statistics can be found at the Village Signs Website
If anybody would like to expand the Village Sign Series, please do.
I would ask that you request a number for your cache first at www.villagesignseries.co.uk
so we can keep track of the Village Sign numbers and names to avoid duplication.
