How Puzzling XXIX
When: Sunday 12th October 2025 (sorry, couldn't fit it in September meet due to family commitments).
Time: 3pm to 5pm
Where: The Metropolitan, Station Rd, Little Chalfont, Amersham HP7 9PN.
I had hoped to host it in Wendover, but Chiltern Railways have closed the line for engineering works this weekend, sorry nottheactor! The Metropolitan Line on the London Underground IS still fully functional though.
Why: Have you been confused about some puzzles and not sure where to start? Do you think you're on the right lines but the geochecker still says no? Have you solved that cache but need to seek confirmation that you're looking in the right (or wrong) place? Come along to meet other geocachers to mull over some of those caches that you're keen to get solved. It also gives us all an opportunity to have a meet other geocachers. Sometimes we just end up chatting instead of solving, but the opportunity is still there.
Who: Geocachers, old and new - everyone is welcome. If you're new to events and feel a little nervous, send me a message beforehand and I will look out for you. The venue is child and dog friendly.
Parking: The venue does have it's own car park.
Public transport: Chalfont and Latimer Railway Station is just a few minutes walk away.
Feel free to bring along: TBs and Geocoins and a selection of puzzles for discussion. You may wish to bring along a notebook or laptop for online solving. Their website does state they have wifi.
Food and drink: The venue does serve hot and cold drinks and snacks all day, although this is optional to attend the event. The menu is here if you wish to browse beforehand.
