This cache is #8 in a series I call Family. The series is a tribute to not only each family member the cache is named after but to my family as a whole. My way of letting the world know my tribe. At this time I don't know how many caches will be in this series as this is a journey. At some point I plan to turn this series of caches into a binder that I will give to my family: they can choose to do with it what they want. To learn about geocaching, download the app, find the cache and read my letter to them? Throw the binder away? Never find the cache but always wonder? My hope is that they embrace my weird and make it an adventure. Not only find the cache I named after them but to find all the caches in the series.
This cache is named for my mother in law, Donna. Donna is one of the most creative people I know. People would pay hundreds of dollars for her quilts; but she doesn't sell them. She makes them for family. Her quilts are definetly family hearlooms.
No matter what Donna goes through, she finds her calm in prayer. I swear, she would be nominated for sainthood. True story. Mostly because she has the patience of a saint.
Enjoy this cache and the area. This neighborhood sure ain't what it used to be!
This cache holds a log only- bring a pen. Watch for lookie loos!
