Riverside Retreat Returns 🌲🎣 (Horowhenua) Traditional Cache

I recently had to archive my original cache placed at this location, GCA017N, due to repeated casual vandalism.

But I liked the spot so have decided to create a replacement cache here that I hope will have a better chance of longevity.

Not quite a simple Park n Grab, but the walk to GZ is less than 300m along an old tarmac road from the ample roadside park available (see Parking Waypoint). PLEASE DO NOT park in front of the locked gate as access is required.

The area around GZ may be prone to flooding in winter or immediately after heavy rainfall. This should not affect the cache, but you may wish to have gumboots available to you.

There is no room in this container for items of SWAG and/or TB’s. You will need to bring along your own scrawling device.

Remember, as with all of my caches, this is supposed to be fun, and part of that fun is discovering the cache as it's meant to be found, so please re-hide exactly as you found it so that others may find it the same way, and report any damage etc in your log.
