The cache is located in Tall Trees park and is a beautiful little escape from the city right in my backyard. It offers a beautiful little stroll no matter what time of the year. There used to be signs up telling you what type of trees there were and how to distinguish them by there leaves but unfortunately the Ice Storm of early 2025 smashed them down and they have yet to be replaced. What didn't get smashed down were all the trees luckily and the beauty of the little forest remains in tact.
I took my little beast there when she was 3, well too be honest many times before that but she was too little to remember however, on this one evening on our walk she was in awe at the sights she was seeing looking up at the trees that are reaching into the sky and she said to me "daddy, I like this place". It's a memory I hold dear in my heart because I too like this place, and I hope you will find it as enjoyable as we do.
The cache is a fairly easy find of a small lock and lock container containing some little trinkets, log book and pencil. Happy cacheing!
