Who wants to come eat some good food and and tell me were I can find places to hide all the ammo cans I have stashed in my garage?
I must have close to 30 ammo cans and some are so big they could swallow your leg and others you could get both feet in knee deep. I also have literally dozens of fun themed micro caches, all loaded up and ready to hide. The background image for this event is just a sample of what's to come.
As I dip my toe back into geocaching after being mostly absent for over a decade, I figured I might as well put my event hosting hat back on too...
This region is a bit of an event desert. So if you want a few more events in this area, definitly show up to this one because I will post another and another if people want more.
Any ol' Tuesday because I don't want to have the expectation of a regular weekly or even monthly after work event, but just an excuse to fill the void between events to get a fix of geocaching talk and news. This will be a recurring event at this location but how often is up to y'all.
Luckily, there is a decent Tex-Mex restaurant a few miles down my rural mountain road in Gate City. I hear the owners of El Ranchito are from Texas and having lived there the greater portion of my life, I can vouch for the authenticity. Their mexican rice would make any Texas Abuela proud.
You don't have to buy a meal to attend. We'll spend the first hour inside and if anyone wants to hang out longer, there are picnic tables all along the sidewalk just outside.
