🎬🎥 GIFF 2025 TFTC-Thanks For The Community! Event Cache

It's time for the 2025 Geocaching International Film Festival, also known as GIFF!

    This year's theme is:TFTC-Thanks For The Community!

The films have been described as being family friendly. 

 Please make sure to log your "will attend" and include how many will be coming with you as there is limited seating. (80)

Where: We rented the Quail Room at the SCW Foundation.

Look for the balloons near the coords. That is where the entrance is.                                                            (same building as last time, but a different room)                                                                                   

(There will be a donation jar to help offset the cost of the room...donations appreciated)

Parking: Parking out front. 

Event time: 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM

Time line:

12:30: doors open – sign log and mingle for awhile. More mingling later. Log will be on the left as soon as you enter the door - on the left inside door.

1:00 – 2:00 - lights, camera, action…film viewing begins, about an hour long

2:00/2:15ish - film ends and we can talk about our FAV film and mingle until 3

Please, when you log your will attend, put how many there are coming as there is limited seating. (80). Logging your will attend, you will also get anouncements should there be any. 

(After you log your will attend and later find out you can't come or don't plan to come for what ever reason, Please could you then log  a "write note" saying you will not be able to make it...so as others can come ...if seating may be an issue)             

After much deliberation, here are this year’s 20 GIFF finalists. These films stand out for their creativity, production quality, content, and contribution to the global geocaching community. It's 68 minutes long and a 3 minute intermission at the 30 min mark.

There will be popcorn...or you can bring your own snack. Or something to share if you so desire...like cookies, chips, etc.

You can bring in non-alcoholic beverages or water in closed top bottles or your own sippy cups that close...just in case it toppels over it won't get everything wet. There will be chairs in theatre style (rows). Water fountains to replenish your water. Restrooms available. No pets allowed.
