Nuthatch is a beautiful bird that is commonly found upside down on tree trunks. It can be seen coming to and from your feeder in a quick flurry. This is a sign of a Nuthatch storing those seeds for later in the winter! The name comes from them placing nuts and seeds into tree bark, then "Hatching" them open with their bill to retrieve their food!
