My bombardment of events in September continues...
...this time it is a Cache In, Trash Out event (CITO). At 9:30 AM we will gather at the posted coordinates and gather the supplies you will need to help clean up the park. Water and trash bags will be provided. Please bring your own gloves and pick-em-up grabbers - plus whatever else you might need (sun screen, bug spray, hats).
We will take our first group photo at 9:44, ready to head out at 9:45 to do good work for an hour. Return to the posted coordinates by 10:45 to pile up our "collections" and pose with happy smiles to show our enthusiastic and successful job. Following a properly distanced group hug, we will part ways and continue to foster our geocaching habits, traditions, and obsessions.
The area where you practice and perfect your CITO skills is up to you. The greenway exists along the river, on both sides of the bridge for US-231. The edges of various water features might also need some TLC.
By attending this event, you should be eligible for the CITO 2025 Season 2 souvenir.
