Grantchester meadows is an iconic place for Cambridge. They deserved to be mentioned in the song by Pink Floyd, and they also connect the places where Nobel Prize laureates tend to live, and where they tend to work. There is a legend, that Bertrand Russell pulled his manuscripts on the trolley from Grantchester to Cambridge Press; probably somewhere around there.
Grantchester meadows footpath and cyclepath connect Newnham area of Cambridge, where you can enjoy children's playground, coffee and bakery, and Grantchester apple orchard where Cambridge folk enjoy cream tea since the times of Rupert Brooke.
The cache is located just aside from the public footpath and can be easily discovered by a pedestrian or a cyclist.
