This series is put out in memory of our late son James Ellis, known to many as “CHEWIE”, hence the series name. James died in his sleep on Easter Sunday the 20th April 2025 aged 41. Jim was very much into 3D printing and all of the caches are 3D printed, using Resin and PLA Filament, in his memory.
The aim is to put out a total of 41 caches covering Coltishall, where Jim lived with us for a few years, Wroxham, where he worked since the age of 18 and North Walsham where he got his first house with his partner Jamie.
The first set of caches, 24 in total, is in and around the village of Coltishall where we live. There are a variety of caches and sizes along the route which will take you along a Public Footpath along a quite country lane to the Bure Valley Path and finally down a fairly quiet country lane back into Coltishall. As always please be aware of traffic especially if you have young ones with you and be careful when crossing the busy Wroxham Road. The caches are easy to find and will suit the younger generation as well.
A pen and tweezers are essential.
The route is approximately 4 miles.
These caches are 3D printed, if a cache has gone missing then please message me and I will sort it out.
PLEASE NO THROW DOWNS and PLEASE, DO NOT REMOVE ANY OF THE 3D PRINTED MODELS.
