When I was a young boy, I used to place cookies and milk out on our kitchen table on December 24. This way when Santa came by our house, he would have something to eat and drink while he was making his rounds distributing gifts.
Today this does not need to be done because Santa could come to this location which offers food and drink options 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year (and 366 days on leap year).
It is also a spot where hungry or thirsty geocachers can come and have a bite whenever they want to. You never need to worry whether someone will be there on a holiday because no person is ever there to sell you the food or drink. So, if you are hungry, have a bite!
In terms of the cache itself, you can carefully life the lid, and what you are looking for will be inside. After signing the log, please carefully place the lid back in its place (if you do not do it properly, rain will get inside). And please do not place any food items in the container or something else might have a bite!
