You are invited to Edina and gr8xpec's So Many Book, a Little More Time event at the Victor Farmington Library. Many thanks to the library for hosting us. This will be a redux of our event that we held in April, as some geocachers were unable to attend or unable to stay long enough for the escape room room portion of the event. The escape room portion will be the same as the April event, so please do not provide any spoilers if you attended the first event.
We will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Victor Farmington Library's food pantry. This is optional, however if you choose to donate, you will receive a raffle ticket for each item you donate. There will be 3 raffle prizes. The following are suggestions for items to donate, however the library said they would be appreciative of anything donated.
Canned veggies, fruit, protein, preferably with pull tabs (rather than requiring a can opener), powdered milk packets, other single serving or small jars/cans (applesauce, etc.). Dollar Tree also sells shelf-stable milk.
So Many Books, A Little More Time
The world is filled with amazing books to read, cool sculptures of book characters, and fantastic book festivals. As a passionate reader, Edina's bucket list is filled with ideas related to books. Edina has been saving her pennies for years, prioritizing her list of places and events, and making detailed plans for the moment when she can set off on her adventure. She's ready to grab her bucket list and head off on the trip of a lifetime! Unfortunately, Edina kept her bucket list literally under lock and key, secured in a box with several locks to keep it safe.
The event will start at 11am and end at 2pm. You do not have to stay for the whole time frame. We will rotate groups of 6 through the escape room portion of the event, so if you don't plan to stay the whole time, an option would be to arrive mid-way or during the second half of the event. If anyone has any questions, please contact me or gr8xpec. Prizes will be awarded to the team who completes the escape room in the shortest amount of time (more details to follow).
We plan to have some other activities for those who already completed the escape room, such as Blind Date with a Book giveaways, magnet poetry, and whatever else we think up in the meantime!
