Geocache Description:

Bring your own pen

Be ware of muggles

Long ago, before the Dominaria leagues banned interplanar travel mid-game, there was a legendary ballpark nestled between dimensions — a place where spells flew farther than baseballs, and the crowd roared in every known tongue.

It was here, on the overgrown diamond in the Plane of Fyndhorn, where the Planeswalker Ignacio “The Flamebat” Valerra became a legend.

Ignacio wasn’t just any player. He was a red mage who could light up a game with a literal spark. His bat was forged from the heartwood of a living treefolk, enchanted with Goblin War Drums and Flight. His cleats were stitched from the hide of a Balduvian bear — stylish, of course.

But it wasn’t his gear that won hearts. It was Ignacio himself — dazzling smile, windswept hair, and that effortless swagger that could tap even the coldest hearts for mana.

The crowd loved him. But the girls? They adored him. Every game, dozens lined the foul line with enchanted banners bearing his name, their hearts aflame like an over-costed red spell.

One girl in particular — a young mage-in-training named Elira — waited by the outfield wall every single game, clutching a hand-drawn card titled Ignacio, Hero of the Diamond. It had no mechanics, just a single line of flavor text:

“One swing, one promise — he always delivers.”

She handed it to him one afternoon when the crowd thinned, and with a grin that could melt an Ice Age, Ignacio said:

“This one’s for you. I’m gonna hit it so hard it leaves this plane.”

That night, with the sun setting over the edge of the multiverse, Ignacio stepped up to the plate. The pitcher — a Phyrexian construct with a fastball that bent time — wound up. Ignacio winked toward the outfield.

The crack of the bat echoed like thunder through all five colors of mana.

The ball soared — past the crowd, over the enchanted bleachers, through a Ring of Three Wishes someone had left open… and right into the outfield wall, where it vanished in a flash of red light and rose petals.

No one’s seen Ignacio since.

Some say he planeswalked mid-run. Others say the ball still pulses with magic, sealed where it struck — embedded in the very wall behind which this cache now hides.

If you’ve found this, you’ve discovered where Ignacio kept his promise.

So tap your inner red mana, channel some style, and maybe — just maybe — you’ll hear the crowd cheer again.
